It was recorded during a period of deep introspection and is a song of solace and tranquility, dedicated to everyone enduring discrimination and persecution. In the face of the pandemic's harshness, our world is in dire need of 'shanti'—peace—now more than ever. I offer this creation to all those who have faced injustice due to their race, caste, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

“Bujhi Oi Shudoore” (“Beckoned me from afar…”) is the first of these offerings. Yudhajit Basu has cinematically interpreted this song and Subha Mukherji has translated the song from the original.
